Land O Lakes UMC partners with Mission Smiles Mobile Dental unit to provide access to dental care. They offer free emergency dental care for those who financially qualify bringing the hands of Jesus to those in need.

The Prayer Ministry of Land O Lakes UMC is committed to coming alongside others through the connecting power of prayer.  The team organizes education opportunities, prays over requests that come to the church, cultivates immersive prayer encounters, and more.  Prayer is the root of all we do at Land O Lakes UMC and the prayer ministry works to grow disciples of Jesus Christ through this spiritual practice.

Land O Lakes Sewing Ministry makes items for people who are in need of love and comfort.  This ministry makes quilts, homeless mats, fidget pillows, and so much more!  These are people showing care and love one stitch at a time.

An emphasis on our duties to care for creation in all ways.  As we like to say: it is our Christian duty as stewards of creation, assigned this role by God in the beginning, to take care of creation.  Not to abuse, over use, or destroy it.  We participate in care for creation by striving toward being plastic and foam free and engaging in opportunities to service like our Blessing of the Pets, a joyful outdoor gathering shows pets of all kinds—dogs, cats, and even small critters—accompanied by their owners.

The humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Committee on Relief – UMCOR – assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need. UMCOR comes alongside those who suffer from natural or human-caused disasters – famine, hurricane, war, flood, fire or other events—to alleviate suffering and serve as a source of help and hope for the vulnerable. UMCOR provides relief, response and long-term recovery grants when events overwhelm a community’s ability to recover on their own. 

Land O Lakes is directly involved in UMCOR thru our donations, volunteers and suppling disaster recovery buckets. 

Land O Lakes UMC hosts both Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts. Scouting has a long history of preparing young people with skills that will serve them and their communities.  Contact the Church Office to learn more about how to connect with the various scout groups at the church.

Land O’ Lakes UMC partners with OneBlood to host blood donation events featuring the Big Red Bus, making it easy for the community to give the gift of life. This ministry reflects a commitment to service, bringing people together to make a meaningful difference through generosity and compassion.

Land O Lakes UMC supports with gathering food and items and supplying volunteers for Christian Social Services (CSS). CSS is a specialized ministry of local churches which offers food, clothing, supportive services and Christian hospitality in the name of Jesus Christ in central Pasco and north Hillsborough counties.

Love and service for others has defined Land O Lakes UMC since its establishment.  This is exemplified in the Congregational Care team.  Empathy is the cornerstone of this ministry as we visit the sick, send cards, pray, offer hospitality, make meals, and so much more.  

Land O’ Lakes UMC partners with Metropolitan Ministries to assist in collecting and distributing meals, contributing to the organization’s effort to serve over 75,000 meals each month. This ministry focuses on addressing food insecurity by providing essential support to those in need.
