You Are Not Alone (YANA)

Loving someone experiencing mental health or addiction issues can be overwhelming. Fear, anger, and

feelings of hopelessness lead to a host of problems for everyone concerned.

Research shows that family support can play a significant role in helping a loved one with mental and

substance use disorders. The unique challenges of caring for yourself while helping (and not enabling)

your loved one can leave you feeling lost and alone. So how do you travel this frightening path? How

do you take care of yourself while being supportive at the same time?

You Are Not Alone (YANA) is a small group of LOLUMC members working together to help each other

through this journey. Based on biblical principles, coupled with 12-Step guidance, we are building a

community of people who want to be there for the ones they love but also want to take care of

themselves along the way.

Please join us in room 103 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm on Tuesdays at Land O Lakes United Methodist Church, where we use the Word of God to help us navigate the chaos.
