Music, Arts and Drama

The music and arts ministry at FUMC LOL is designed to worship God through the various art forms and lead worship in our worship services. Currently we have opportunities to get involved in several different ways through the following ministry opportunities.

· The Sanctuary Praise Team leads worship for the 9:15 AM service.  We are always looking for singers and instrumentalists to join in leading worship.

· The Chancel Choir leads worship for the 11AM service and is involved in many of the larger productions.  We sing music from the Renaissance through the modern era, from Bach and Mozart to Rutter and Tomlin.  All ages and all voice types are welcome.

· The Drama team includes acting, directing, writing and set design elements.  Activities include small sketches to highlight sermon and liturgical themes and larger productions for the High Holy Days.

· The Not My Cup of Tea….if another art form is your passion…….dance, painting, sculpting…………whatever!......then let us find the place for you to help us find more ways to express our love of God.

· The Tech team is the glue for all the above, providing the audio, visual, computer and lighting support to make it all happen.
